Is the app free?

Yes, completely free, no ads, no in app purchases, no subscription. If you'd like to support development, there's an optional link to Ko-fi in the app's "From the Dev" page, entirely voluntary.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The app works fully without signing in or creating any account.

The toilet data

Where does the toilet information come from?

The core dataset comes from the Great British Public Toilet Map (GBPTM), an open, community maintained resource, supplemented with additional research and corrections.

Why isn't a toilet near me listed?

Coverage depends on what's been recorded in the source data. If you know of a public toilet that's missing, you can suggest it directly in the app, see below.

Reporting and suggestions

How do I suggest a new toilet location?

Long press anywhere on the map where you know a public toilet exists. A pin will drop, and tapping it opens a short form to send us the details.

How do I report incorrect information?

Open the toilet's card and use the report option to flag anything that's wrong, out of date, or missing.

What happens after I submit something?

Every report and suggestion is reviewed manually before anything changes in the app. Nothing you submit is shown publicly or to other users.

Settings and navigation

Can I choose which maps app opens for directions?

Yes. In Settings, choose between Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, or Citymapper as your default for the Navigate button.

Can I change how toilets are displayed on the map?

Yes. Settings includes options for pin size, high contrast pins, distance units, and haptic feedback.
